Bread and pastry from healthy and sustainable sources with no compromise

Chain of Values

Our mission is to put bread and pastry from healthy and organic sources on the table - a principle we call the "Chain of Values Approach". In this local chain, we strive to have an active relationship with organic farmers and millers, from whom we buy our flour and other locally available ingredients. In the "Chain of Values Approach", the farmer is the price maker during the economic transaction - we don't usually bargain for the products. We source exclusively organic ingredients both locally and internationally - so 99% of EVERYTHING you find in our products comes from organic farming.

For 10 years, only organic ingredients, no additives, high professional knowledge, attention and natural sourdough in our breads - this is what guarantees Pipacs quality every day.

We are proud of our team - it consists of dedicated, professionally humble, excellent people who, both in production and in the store, are always looking for ways to provide you with the maximum experience. If you haven't been to us yet, stop by and let's meet!

We all who are in the organic world are a real alternative to food from industrial, chemical agriculture. We are all working to ensure that we are surrounded by a livable Earth and that we can put clean food on the table. We all believe that high quality goes hand in hand with organic farming and that we, small-scale businesses, have a pioneering role in this. That is why you will find a variety of other farmer's products in our store, which are all certified organic products prepared with high professional knowledge by our friends.

Our breads

All our bread is made with natural sourdough, long-fermentation and local flour.

Astrié

Évek óta Nobilis Ágoston lisztjével sütjük a kenyeret, amit Ágoston és csapata a Zsámbéki medencében lévő Csoroszlyafarmon őröl egy Astrié gránitköves malmon. A malom Franciaországból, Philippe Lauzes műhelyéből érkezett.

Baguette

Baguette is one of the most well-known types of bread in the French baking tradition. We make it from BL80 wheat flour with sourdough.

White Bread

Our white bread is made from BL80 flour milled with the roller mill process from the most common wheat variety (Triticum aestivum) in Hungary.

Our Story

We started very small but with strong faith - there were three of us and we baked 150 kg of bread per week from four types of bread. This was exactly 10 years ago, in the spring of 2014, in our workshop on Bécsi út. We started by going to the market with a Mitsubishi L300 minivan every Saturday morning, baking from 4AM and standing in the store in the afternoons, delivering to our resellers, developing products, negotiating with suppliers, cleaning the entire plant every Monday and new colleagues were joining constantly.

A lot has happened since then. So many stories, so many people we met along the way, from whom we learned, who we taught, with whom we parted ways, who stayed here because they believed in all of this. Pprofessional meetings abroad and home, friendships, collaborations with farmers, millers, bakers, and researchers.

We are neither more nor less than a fresh, crispy slice of bread for your everyday or holidays lunch. But we are extremely proud of that. We create, work, struggle and get tired every day with our two hands.

We know that uncompromising value can only be put on the table in this way: the source of the ingredient, the harmony of flavors, the in-depth attention and knowledge of the baker, the kindness of the clerks all serve to give you a new experience of bread - or you can relive the one you already have whenever you come back to us.

This is our story.
